Clarissa Drouillard has heard many people say that children are the future of this planet. Going along with that philosophy, she is glad that she had the chance to educate a group of bright middle school students on energy and water conservation. Spreading awareness of our impact on the environment is vital, even if changes are happening one light bulb at a time. What we teach the youth now could influence them for a long time!
Recently, Walnut Creek Saves had the opportunity to attend the Shadelands Ranch Museum Holiday Faire! The Holiday Faire is an annual tradition in Walnut Creek and Walnut Creek Saves was fortunate enough to set up booth for a few days and partake in the excitement!
Walnut Creek Saves is a City of Walnut Creek program that was created to help better our community. Our goals are to boost the economy in Walnut Creek, lower residents’ water and energy bills, and of course make the environment a cleaner and safer place. We hope to accomplish these goals by offering free in-home consultations, attending outreach events, and hoping that residents spending their savings locally.
