Our Program is Nearing its End

The sixteen month long Walnut Creek Saves program has one month to go. Andre Medeiros is proud of what we have all accomplished in a little over a year. We reached the City’s goals of consultations completed throughout the year and our goal of better educating the public about conserving energy and water.

What is Walnut Creek Saves?

Walnut Creek Saves is a program that helps homeowners and renters lower their energy and water bills. Walnut Creek Saves is a City-sponsored, residential efficiency program. Our goals are to help residents save energy, water, and money, as well as boost the local economy. Walnut Creek Saves also employs local high school students, like Omar Zaifulizan, and trains us to become Conservation Coaches to help residents during free home consultations and conduct outreach around Walnut Creek!

My Conservation Coach Experience

Walnut Creek Saves is a program that provides Walnut Creek residents with free consultations where we provide information on how to save energy and water. The program collaterally educates and pays students, like Andre Medeiros, who are affiliated with this program. Learn more about Andre's experience as he describes working with new team members and educating the community during farmers market events.
