As a Conservation Coach for Walnut Creek Saves Ariana Montalvo has learned many skills to help guide her through life. She has learned these skills through many outreach opportunities and in-home consultations. At every new outreach event that Walnut Creek Saves attends she learns how to have a professional conversation with strangers, marketing skills, and I am able to educate Walnut Creek residents on how to better conserve water and energy.
The first home consultation that Clarissa Drouillard attended finally made her realize the full scope of the work that Walnut Creek Saves does to lessen our impact on the environment. By the end of the experience, she felt more confident in both her own abilities, and the educational message that our program spreads to residents of the city.
